Message I got my car all sorted out, but have only one issue left. Boosting smoke. I would have said it was a a very light grey, I don't really notice oil smell but more of an 'exhaust' smell. Not using any coolant, boost (on stock turbos) will run 10psi on an autometer guage at lowest level of my vaccuum boost controller, 15psi when increased. No jerks/stalls or hesitation. Car has new pcv valves, oil return lines verified running smoothly from the turbos. I only get the smoke when boosting (above 1psi), I know the car is running somewhat rich because of the carbon on the tips is heavy, can this cause it? It has BOVs and a full exhaust that was installed in japan not sure what the status of the cats in it are. If its not going to cause a problem then i'm not too concerned but its annoying to blow smoke whenever the needle points into the +PSI side.
Won't blow any smoke at start, idle, idle after boosting, or revving to redline when out of gear, only turbo loading does this. Any ideas? Car gets 18mpg city. Moderate boost leak through dipstick (crankcase). Not sure how that would be resolved though, since the PCV is new (just did it myself with OEM parts from dealer), and vaccuum lines all look good.
